Classic Elegance Newport Beach Military Wedding at Pacific Club

"There is something to be said that true beauty come from the inside and this couple could not be a more perfect example of this. Devon and Michael are Southern California high school sweethearts and a testament to true love. Michael serves our country as a pilot in the Air Force. Since Michael began his service he has hand written a letter to Devon every week, over 200 in total, and continues to do so as her husband. Michael even hand made a wooden box for Devon to keep these treasured letters. Their love for each other is radiant, and is evident in every photo of them from that day. Classic elegance can perfectly describe Devon and Michael’s wedding day vision. Every detail of their wedding day was perfect thought out, from the beauty and grandeur of the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano to the stately elegance of the Pacific Club, the custom invitations designed by the bride and the crisp and classic centerpieces."

From the bride: To put it simply, our day was perfect. I can't thank all of our amazing vendors enough because they are the reason that my vision was brought to life. My vision was classic elegance. I always wanted a formal wedding and I felt like the best color scheme to execute that vision would be black, white and pops of gold and silver. In college I majored in Art History and after studying abroad in Florence, where I focused primarily on art in the Catholic churches, I was even more drawn to the history and beauty of the Mission San Jan Capistrano. I really wanted the Mass to be a focal point of the day and the Mission really added to the beauty of that celebration of us becoming husband and wife. I would say the best part (aside from marrying my best friend) was looking around and seeing everyone that we love in one room together celebrating our love for each other. Also, belting out "Sweet Caroline" with a packed dance floor at the end of the night wasn't a bad memory either :)
