"While designing 'Tulip' and 'Peony', two dresses from our 2015 collection, we pictured a bride running through the "Fields of Love." With Tulip's fluted lace silhouette, and Peony's silk crepe bias cut with a lace bodice, we knew these dresses were made for a romantic styled shoot. So we teamed up with a group of very talented ladies and who helped us gather and perfect our vision. We pictured a bride that simply loves the beauty of love, and wants to capture every little detail about her wedding day. A day that is all at once vintage and classic, bohemian and elegant. Together these elements created a feminine and romantic Southern California setting for the lovely bride.
The day was slightly overcast and warm - just perfect for capturing our dresses against the setting sun. The gorgeous hair and makeup was done by Rickie Bocanegra, and the bride stands out even more with her floral crown beautifully created by Carolyn Brown from The Crown Collective. Carolyn went above and beyond creating a matching bouquet, floral center piece, and decorated the naked cake. Maskipops By Adri baked the delicious cake along with wonderfully detailed macaroons and cake pops and Jasmin Michelle Designs designed a stunning set of invitations complimenting the lace of our gowns and using the color palette to perfection. The setting would not have been complete without the amazing vintage wooden trunks from Party Pieces By Perry, topped with a rectangular doily. All the little details including the tufted chair, antique sewing machine and the violin created character and embodied the bride's imagined love for music, beauty, and life itself. Lastly, the overall vision for "Fields of Love" was beautifully captured by Kristina Adams Photography. Kristina caught those surreal and quiet moments between the bride and her surroundings, turning our vision into a story." -Abegail of Rose & Delilah
