A Bel Air Bay Club Wedding with Pink Bougainvillea by Sarah Sotro Photography

I first met Dani and Kyle in December of 2014. They live in New York but were visiting family in California and staying in Los Angeles. We, along with Dani’s mother, met at a small restaurant a few miles from her parents home. Over brunch they shared a little bit about their lives in New York, their engagement story in San Francisco, and their beautiful venue; The Bel Air Bay Club. Located on the Southern California Coast and covered in bougainvillea, the Club reminded Dani of her childhood home. We shot their engagement photos that same day at her parents home and it was clear that their love was not only sweet and romantic but fun. They loved each others company and spent a lot of time laughing. Their wedding was the same, and one of my favorites from the year. Everything came together perfectly for a flawless day overlooking the Pacific Palisades coast. Their families stood by them at the alter as they pledged their love. The bougainvillea that reminded Dani of her childhood were woven throughout every aspect of the day. The reception was kicked off by THE BEST 10 minute Horah I have ever seen and the celebration that followed was just as fun. Warmth, laughter, dancing, and love surrounded the entire day and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph. -Sarah Sotro Photography
