"People love fairytale love stories. “We both studied abroad in Paris and met during a rainstorm when we shared a taxi outside of the Louvre, and we’ve been madly in love ever since!” That sort of thing. For us, it wasn’t like that. Our relationship grew very naturally and gradually out of friendship. We met through a mutual friend about halfway through our studies at UC Berkeley, and we got to know each other over our remaining years there. We hung out together frequently, and the more we learned of each other, the closer we became. By the time we graduated, we were inseparable. It helped that our personalities have always been very compatible. We each got along well with the other’s friends, and at this point we basically just share them all :)" -bride
