"At first, Sharon didn't really think Ryan was the guy for her. He seemed a little toooo smooth, but after a few drinks on date #1, things loosened up and his true goofy side started to show. Ryan, a self-proclaimed Jameson man, was pretty impressed that Sharon liked whiskey, and they connected over the many things they have in common; one being a love for travel. About 6 months into their relationship, Sharon and Ryan took a road trip up the coast to Monterey, along with Sharon's puppy Milo, and as they say - the couple that travels together says together. It was on the road that they really got to relax and get to know each other, and it was just one of many adventures to come.
On their second anniversary, Ryan proposed during a trip to Cabo. He'd been adamant all week that he was NOT proposing in Mexico - insistent that he would never bring a diamond ring along for the journey. Having convinced Sharon, she was quite surprised when he got down on one knee. It wasn't until they sat down to eat dinner that the emotions came flooding in; the excitement of her dreams coming true finally hitting her.
Their wedding at the Langham Pasadena was an elegant affair; from Sharon's stunning Maggie Sottero gown, to the gorgeous historic hotel that was the backdrop for their outdoor Horseshoe Lawn ceremony. The couple opted not to do a first look, treasuring seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony. The bridesmaids wore an assortment of blush-tone Adrianna Pappell dresses, each with beading that evoked old Hollywood glam, and the pink and white florals gave the decor a romantic touch. DeBois Entertainment provided phenomenal entertainment that had Sarah from Pop the Champagne, and her assistant, dancing away at the end of the night." -Rachel Stelter Photography
