"A proper elopement is a balance of intimacy and inclusion. A couple’s desire to have an artful and intimate ceremony should also allow for space to honor family and friends who wish to celebrate your love alongside you. A common misconception is that elopements should forgo the stationary altogether. We believe a thoughtfully designed wedding announcement can easily help make those who were not in attendance feel as if they were a part of your day. Our bride’s very own Italian coastal cityscape painting (as seen on the envelope) serves as the focal point in our design. The color palette of sunset pink, rusty bronze and creamy neutrals were lifted from her brush strokes and sprinkled throughout our story. The Latin phrase “Vini Vidi Amavi” translating to “We Came. We Saw. We Loved” speaks to the poetic nature of their intimate seaside elopement. The suite pairs beautifully with the custom Heidi Gibson ring designed with the watchful eye of our groom - and who doesn’t love a groom with impeccable taste?
Paradise Cove in Malibu is a hidden gem in our own backyard of Southern California that reminds us so much of Italy’s beach culture. It’s a perfect place for a couple on a budget who can’t make the travel overseas - no passport required. Our simple vino ceremony installation relies on the majestic tones of the rock formation paired with the charm of the clustered wine bottles. As honeymooners, our couple lounges aside an expertly crafted cheese platter, blood orange limoncello, and a custom coconut-caramel petite cake. The romance and whimsy of the day are documented by our groom and his vintage Rolleiflex camera."
