"It was the most beautiful day of the year. The sun was shining in true California fashion to pair perfectly with a gentle, calm breeze for an afternoon Spring wedding in Ventura County. J & S were married at the beautiful Maravilla Gardens and boasted the most beautiful array of details, desserts, and florals. J donned an elegant Ines Di Santo satin trumpet gown with lace detailing and was accompanied in white by her six ethereal bridesmaids. Two-hundred guests were in attendance with many family members and friends visiting from Texas and New York to witness their union. With the Camarillo foothills as the backdrop for their outdoor ceremony and reception, the green and ivory color palette so organically tied every detail together to capture the essence of a dreamy sun-kissed Southern California wedding. After the ceremony ended, the party began! The couple made their debut on the dance floor with a dance they'd rehearsed and performed it flawlessly with pure delight and joy. The night ended all too soon with sweets by Frost It Cakery. A clean white cake surrounded by macarons and truffles were displayed on a vintage desk and a small chandelier hanging from a tree was the perfect meeting place for after-dinner treats." -Katrina Kim Photography
