Written In The Stars: Modern Meets Ethereal Editorial

About the shoot: "Our design inspiration was a light and airy take on the moon and stars trend. We wanted something modern and ethereal. We kept the color palette cool with Terracotta, soft mauve, a mix of creams, white and touches of rose gold, copper, and gold. We wanted to aesthetic of the shoot to represent what a sunrise on the moon might look like! We wanted to keep the palette soft and airy and full of texture. Megan of LoveStruck blooms delivered the perfect pieces that included a mix of dried and fresh blooms with tons of texture. For the ceremony site, we wanted the flowers to appear to be growing out of the moon. The photographer made the bridal gown. She wanted the bride's attire to have movement and layers. She wanted something romantic and whimsical. She designed the pieces with three different color fabrics and textures that went hand in hand with the overall look of the shoot. We went with a classic black tux for the groom provided by friar tux shop. Going with the light and airy aesthetic we wanted to portray we kept most of the elements on the table soft in color with some deep touches with the cheesecloth table linen+napkins and the geometric glasses. The plates were provided by CB2 and had the perfect speckled look to mimic the surface of the moon. We added in tapered candles in soft gray for a touch of romance and fresh cut figs for a pop of color. We went with ghost chairs for the overall look we wanted to achieve which was a sunrise on the moon, We didn't want them to take away from the airy feel of the shoot and the chairs were the perfect fit."
