"Kelley and Blair were married at a private estate in Coronado, California, in 2016. To celebrate their two year anniversary, they dressed up for a portrait session in Balboa Park - a park allure comes from its intricate Spanish architecture, lush palm, and cypress trees, and rose and cactus gardens. Saving their black outfits to contrast with the neutral walls of the museums later, Kelley first wore a pink Marchesa Notte gown that paired beautifully with Blair's blue suit and pink tie. To complement their colorful attire, I photographed them among the roses and cacti in the park. Thankfully the rose garden was in full bloom during their session and gave us a vibrant surrounding for the first half of their session.
After changing into a black Marchesa gown and a black suit, Kelley and Blair boldly contrasted against the neutral walls and columns within the center of the park. You honestly can't beat the jaw-dropping architectural elements with anything else in San Diego. The Casa Del Prado Theatre has one of the most stunning facades and elegant in every way. It's Churrigueresque ornamentation held its own alongside Kelley's detailed Marchesa gown and chic updo. Clearly, Kelley and Blair celebrated their two year anniversary in every sense of the word "style." -Cavin Elizabeth Photography
