"I wanted our engagement session to really embody who we are as a couple. I really wanted to portray this through our wardrobing! I had two looks in mind for myself that could represent this: something feminine, soft, and princess-like, and something more classic Californian for a more effortless and relaxed second look. Craig wanted to keep it more simple with his wardrobing and opted for a blue suit and white button-up sans tie- very classic debonair. Even though I did not want anything to appear too overly staged and posed, I wanted to make sure our engagement pictures where well thought out and timeless. I wore a Marchesa gown paired with Jimmy Choo heels for my first look, and a C/MEO dress paired with BCBG heels for my second. Craig wore a Hugo Boss suit and white button up, and Bally boots. Before even knowing of Kestrel Park, I knew that we needed the perfect location to make my vision come to life. I had two concepts in mind and I wanted to make sure I found a location where both of these could come alive. From the English countryside-style landscaping and Castle-like horse stables, to the simplicity of the natural grass on the drive up the property, Kestrel Park really is multifaceted."
